Memorial Day, Summertime, and See You Tonight at Zookie's!

Hope you all are having a nice shortened work week and had a pleasant Memorial Day with family and friends. We honor our fallen soldiers who gave all so we could have our Liberty. Thank you to the real heroes of our country. If any additional group deserves their own month, it's our military...

Memorial Day is also the unofficial start to summer in most of the country. Ladies can start to wear white pants now, from what I'm told, and men can wear cargo shorts to bother their ladies. ;-)

Here in southern Florida, one can argue the true start to summer is the end of "Season" - the time when our cities and towns swell due to vast flock of "snowbirds" making their way down to escape from the cold northern winters.

I'd say our summer starts right after Easter. Now that it is stupid hot and humid, with daily thunderstorms, we have the luxury of quieter roads, the ability to book a restaurant reservation and to get a hair cut as a walk in!

For our part, thanks for making Metal Spirits a part of your Memorial Day picnics and BBQ's! And thanks for your pics as always.

In current happenings, come hang out with us tonight at Zookie's Sports Bar and Grill. I'm tellin' ya, it is one of the best burgers in town! Metal Spirits will be there from 6:00 PM to ?? We will delivering free samples of our incredibly smooth Vodka and Rye Whiskey and having our usual good time with our Tribe! We hope to see you there and look forward to meeting new converts!
