Belated Father's Day Wishes, Golfing with Soldiers and New Event Announcements!

I totally forgot to mention Father's Day last weekend! Happy belated Father's Day to all you kick ass Poppas out there! You are crucial to your children and Metal Spirits salutes you. Stick with them and be present. They will thank you someday... I think... ;-)

Yo, Tribe. Thanks for hanging with us. I know the local shops keep running out of our juice, and you do too, but we ask for your patience. We are a new brand and our retail customers (liquor stores, bars, restaurants) are business people, same as us.

They don't know if the "new guys" are going to sell or not, and hell, we don't either to be honest, so we can't expect our retail customers to make big orders right away (because if it doesn't sell they eat that cost). We appreciate the texts, posts, social media IM's etc. and we hope we're getting back to you in a timely matter with timelines of deliveries.

Our liquor store and bar/restaurant customers are making their orders though and we are starting to get to know what type of volume and velocity of sales we're getting so, we're confident things will keep getting smoother for you.

Also, for the folks outside of Florida, with our new distributor relationship we are exploring ways to potentially get online sales going again. We want to get it to you and again we appreciate your support. At the end of the day, although we are still a speck on the map of the spirits industry, we're excited to find our Tribe as we build this thing with you!

In other news, we had a blast with our amazing foursome friends, (golf, you delinquents!), Mike and Nadine, at the Take a Soldier Fishing golf outing last Saturday. What a great event for a great cause. Afterwards, all the golfers had lunch at Cracklin' Jack's and we did a Metal Spirits tasting. A good time was had by all and after eight hours in the SW Florida heat and humidity, it was pool and nap time!

Lastly, a couple of updates on some new events coming up. First, next Thursday, June 29th, the folks at Dagny's Spirits will be holding a tasting from 4:30-7:00 at their store on 15205 Collier Blvd, in Pebblebrooke Center. Metal Spirits will be there and yes, they should have more Metal Vodka by then. We hope to see you there!

Second, Independence Day weekend will be a blast with our Tribe at Bone Hook Brewing. On Saturday, July 1st, we will be participating in their "Firecracker Open" golf outing (we might get good at this golf thing) and more importantly, will be providing Metal (Bloody) Mary's and other assorted breakfast cocktails before the balls start flying. Then, on Sunday, July 2nd, we're working on a trip out to Keywaydin Island aboard the Bone Hook booze cruise to spend a day with our Tribe, doing tastings on the beach!

And speaking of Bone Hook, don't forget to visit them on Thursdays (oh, look. Today's Thursday!) where all local liquor brands are on special. It's a good evening for a Metal Martini or Metal Manhattan, don't ya think?
