Well, post Independence Day definitely starts the dog days of summer - especially here in southwest Florida. Daaaaamn, it's hot and humid! And where are the normal daily afternoon thunderstorms??? Hope you're staying cool and hydrated here in Florida or wherever you are in the country.

Of course, the best way to stay cool is to stop by your local air-conditioned watering hole. And what a coincidence! We're going to be at such a place as we will be back at Dogtooth Sports Bar and Grill tomorrow evening starting at 7:00. Dogtooth will have specials on Metal Rye Manhattans and Metal Vodka Martinis, so come on out and join us for a great time and great old school rock-n-roll by Backlash! We've jammed with Backlash before and they are terrific! (Anyone who can play the ending riff of Dire Straight's Sultan of Swing has our mad respect).

And also, if you're not yet sold on the Metal Rye or Vodka, we will be doing free tastings as well, to lure you in to The Tribe. ;-)
