Bone Hook Brewing and a Metal Spirits Bar Crawl Tomorrow Evening, plus Some Future Events!
Hey Tribe!
Well, it's that time of year again - Shark Week - the yearly interruption of our nightly ritual of watching soothing, serene nature shows, that help me fall asleep, completely taken over by huge, aggressive, toothy animals trying to kill humans!
Onward...
Far away from any man-eating sharks, tomorrow evening we will be back with Colin and crew at Bone Hook Brewing from 5:30-7:30, doing our thing with our Tribe and enjoying some smooth AF Metal Rye and Vodka. Bone Hook also makes some amazing beers and tasty grub.
Food wise, you can't go wrong the BBQ platter. Nothin' like some St. Louis baby back ribs, smoked chicken and sausage. If you need some veg to round out this meat fest, the cauliflower is prepared to perfection!
On the brew front, I'm a big fan of the Dapper Dan American IPA (7.2% ABV). In fact, I like it so much, I asked them to make an old school "cocktail" with Metal Rye and Dapper Dan. Don't hurl just yet - remember the Boilermaker? That old manly man classic that I used to have with my grandpa - a shot and a beer. Try a Metal Maker next time your at Bone Hook! Come on... are you soft or are you Metal? ;-)
Before and after Bone Hook, we also plan to do a little unofficial Metal Bar Crawl, dropping in on as many of our partners as possible. Here is that list as a reminder and we hope to run into our Tribe wherever you may roam!
Also, speaking of Bone Hook they will be hosting another golf outing on August 5th - The Honor Flight Open. While I don't think we'll be able to play in this one, we're hoping we can sponsor again and provide some Metal Mary's to the golfers before the shotgun start. More to come on this but download the Bone Hook app if you'd like to golf and support a great cause!
Lastly, stay tuned for an event at Franklin Social in August. We are working on that now and look forward to hanging out again with Lonna, Mitch and the rest of our Tribe at Franklin!
That's it for this week Tribe. Stay cool out there!
Cheers!
