MTV is 42, Metal Spirits is 1 and Our Tribe (YOU) are Amazing!
Hey Tribe!
Wanna feel old? MTV turned 42 years old this week. What the what?!?! Most of us probably haven't watched this channel for ~30 years but it is yet another in a long line of iconic creations of the 80's! GenX rules...
On the home front, it was one year ago this week that we launched Metal Spirits and sent you the first Tribal Update (technically we're five years old but we had to make product first and whiskey takes time). Thanks Tribe for supporting us so far. We truly appreciate everyone of you crazy MoFos!
Onward...
Happy Thirsty Thursday! We hope you're having an awesome week and you're looking forward to a kick ass weekend. As always, we hope you'll visit our growing list of partners (which needs to be updated - D'oh - Dave's fault!) this weekend and we hope to see you around town.
Last weekend was a blast as it always is with our Tribe! Friday evening, we had a great tasting at Bone Hook Brewing. Bone Hook has been an amazing partner and they put their money and marketing where their mouths are, promoting local brands across the board. From owner Dan, to Colin and all the staff, what a classy and professional group of humans and we're thrilled to be part of their Tribe!
After Bone Hook, we visited our friends at Whiskey Park (more on them later), Dylan's Drafthouse and Blue Monkey (not a customer yet but we're working on it). On Sunday, we also made our way over to Zookie's with about 30 of our closest friends after a round of golf at Arrowhead Golf Club. Pretty sure it was 187 degrees and 200% humidity but it was great times, mediocre golf (by me), great music and great people!
On to this weekend, we have yet another golf outing, and again with Bone Hook and crew. Unfortunately, we cannot golf this weekend but we'll be manning the Metal Mary and Metal Red Bull tent before tee off. If you haven't signed up, I believe they have a few spots left. And it's at The Strand - a gorgeous course!
Then, Saturday afternoon, We're off to Whiskey Park for an afternoon music recital. That's right, a kids' music recital! Don't worry, no minors will be served but the place will be packed with parents, and if you've ever been to a 3-hour childrens' music recital, you can understand the need for a drink! ;-)
That's it for this week, Tribe. Have a great weekend.
Cheers!
