Power Trip Recap, Metal Spirits Baseball and Back to Work!
Hey Tribe!
For all the newbies, welcome!
Don't forget to get your Metal Spirits Vodka and Rye Whiskey, for 10% off, through the month of October! Just enter the code: METAL! Our partners at A1A ship all over the country too, so fear not, if you're not lucky enough to be in Florida.
Remember, there are two types of people in this world - those who love Metal Spirits, and those who will. ;-)
Onward...
Well, the Power Trip festival, in Indio, CA, was all it was cracked up to be. Kudos to the leadership and team who pulled off this amazing spectacle of legendary rock-n-roll gods and in keeping in line the ~100,000 hoodlums who came to camp, party, head bang and make merry!
The Metal Spirits went quickly and we welcomed some new folks to The Tribe, but the bands were the main event. AC/DC, Metallica, Guns N Roses, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Tool. Come on! What a weekend!
Jess and I both felt AC/DC was the best as they haven't played live in seven years, played 24 of their hits and seemed the most excited to be on stage. And they can still bring it, even with a lead singer (Brian Johnson) who just turned 76! It was also Jess' first time seeing her hometown (Australia) band live so she was ecstatic!
Here are just a few of the (allowable) pics:
Back home in Naples, The Metal Spirits Baseball season has begun. Even though their esteemed owner and feared batter ;-) was at Power Trip, and not in the lineup, they managed to "squeak out" a 12-2 victory.
Seriously, we're excited about this year's team and the new players who have joined us. I think we're stacked and we look forward to defending our championship title from last year! Well done, men. LFG!
Lastly, after a two week hiatus from doing Metal Spirits events and tastings, we look forward to getting back on the road with our Tribe. Back to work!
We are also working on a couple of new business partnerships that will help bring Metal Spirits more closely to you across Florida and perhaps new states as well. More to come on this and other events in the near future, but we're excited entering our second year with you all!
That's it for this week. Have a great weekend, Tribe!
Cheers!
