Great ZZ/Skynyrd Show, The Smokin' Aces Brought it, and St. Paddy's Day Festivities at Bone Hook!
Hey Tribe!
ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd rocked the Hertz Arena last Saturday. It was a great show but man did ZZ Top look old (because they ARE). It shouldn't have surprised me but I just remember them so much younger. But I guess they remember me a lot younger too! ;-)
Onward...
Another great time last night at Seed To Table, celebrating Rock-N-Roll Thursdays. The Smokin's Aces are one of the best local bands we've seen in awhile, effortlessly pulling off covers from the likes of AC/DC and The Scorpions. It was a big, loud crowd and it's always fun welcoming new folks into our Tribe. Special thanks to Crystal, Lucas and the rest of the STT Tribe for putting on such a great night, every Thursday!
In other news, it's St. Paddy's day weekend - that time of year when everyone becomes Irish for a day. We'll be smoking some corned beef and cabbage at Casa de Metal, the Guinness is chilling in the fridge, and we're especially looking forward to spending time with our Tribe at Bone Hook Brewing!
We'll be there Sunday, starting around 1:00 PM, so come on out and have some green beer (and a shot of Metal Rye, of course), eat some Irish fare and celebrate with the amazing Tribe at Bone Hook!
That's it for this week, Tribe. Happy St. Paddy's Day!
Cheers!
