Chicago Tornadoes, Concert Craziness and Relentless Fire Tonight!
Hey Tribe!
Ya ever been out partying during a crazy storm only to realize the next morning you probably should have been a little more cautious and there were 29 tornadoes that touched down in the area?! Well, we have! You know what they say, God takes care of babies and drunks!
Onward...
Yes, we escaped unscathed and the concert organizers did the right thing by starting the show early enough to get all the Steve Miller Band, Journey and Def Leppard sets in, before the front came through. We were still having a blast in Wrigleyville and then we heard the tornado sirens and thought that might be a good sign for us to get back to our shelters.
All three bands were terrific and the new lead singer for Journey sounds remarkably like Steve Perry. Def Leppard sounds the same as they did in the 80's and their one armed drummer, Rick Allen, continues to bang it out with the best of them. And The Steve Miller band sounded the same as I remember them in the 70's and 80's. Overall this is a great tour so if you have the chance, we highly recommend it!
And now, we are back in Naples and ready to rock-n-roll with our Tribe here! Tonight we will be at Seed To Table again, this time listening to the band, Relentless Fire. This is our first Relentless Fire show, so we are looking forward to seeing them live!
And, of course, we always look forward to hanging out with our crazy, fun Tribe at STT!
That's it for this week, Tribe. Next week, we should be announcing an exciting new partnership. Stay tuned!
Have a kick ass weekend, Tribe! And remember, friends don't let friends drink Tito's! ;-)
Cheers!
