Delta Crossing, Pandora's Box, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band, Baseball Playoffs - Oh My!
Hey Tribe!
Happy Rock N Roll Thirsty Thursday! Hope y'all made it through tax day OK, and as a reminder, the US has existed longer WITHOUT an income tax, than with one.
Take that for what you will.
Onward...
Well, it's going to be an awesome weekend of live music for our Tribe, so let's rock-n-roll!
First, tonight it's Delta Crossing at Seed To Table. From Delta Crossings Web site, "Performing timeless Classic and Southern Rock favorites from AC/DC to ZZ Top and everything in between, Delta Crossing offers something for every fan." We can attest to this! They're one of our favorite local bands and we always look forward to hearing them play. We'll see you there tonight from 7-10!
And yes, as long as they allow it, I will be behind the bar trying to win converts!
Then. Saturday night, Metal Spirits will be co-hosting Pandora's Box with our Seed to Table Tribe. These guys look amazing and although we won't be able to attend in person, we will be there in (Metal) Spirit, and some of our Tribe will be representing us, so please stop by our table and say hi!
In the meantime, Jessy Marie and I will be taking the Metal Machine and all our other Metal Spirits gear up to Tampa for the Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band, Uncle Cracker concert at Raymond James Field. We'll be tailgating at our tent, rockin' the tunes, grillin' some meats and handing out some free samples! So, if you happen to be going, stop by, say hi and have a drink on us!
Lastly, another event we will have to miss this weekend is the start of the Metal Spirits Baseball playoffs.
Having finished first in the regular season of the SWFL 643 Premier League, we've had byes in the first couple weeks of the playoffs, but the boys get back to work this Saturday and I'm confident they will bring home a victory! The game vs. the Marlins is at Eagle Lakes Community Park and starts at 6:00 PM on Saturday. If you happen to be in the area feel free to stop by - it is quality baseball! Even this old man hits a rope now and again.
That's it for this week Tribe. Hope to see you around this weekend!
Cheers!
