Hockey Capital = Florida(?), "Slippery When Wet" This Saturday, and Independence Day Announcement!
Hey Tribe!
Now that our local Florida Everblades have won their third straight Kelly Cup and the Florida Panthers are Stanley Cup champions, can we all agree that the hottest, most humid state in the country is the capital of the world's favorite cold-weather sport?!?!
One of the best moments was seeing Lord Stanley's Cup hoisted on the balcony of my favorite bar on the planet - Elbo Room!
Congrats boys!
Onward...
Only three more days until Bon Jovi tribute band, Slippery When Wet takes the stage at Z's, for what promises to be an epic night of old school arena rock followed by DJ Messina into the wee hours of the morning!
Metal Spirits will be taking over the bar all night for any smooth AF vodka and rye whiskey drinks, and we will be rockin' and rollin' in the front row with our Tribe!
Tickets sales are going so well, Z's has expanded the seating to accommodate the demand, so act fast if you still want to go!
In other news, we are absolutely jacked to announce a new event this Independence Day, Thursday, July 4th, at Seed to Table. Grammy award winning country music artist Ira Dean will be on stage starting at 8:30 PM!
Formerly part of the late 90's group, Trick Pony, Dean and his bandmates previously won the American Music Award for "Top New Artist" and the Country Music Association's "Artist of the Year".
It promises to be an evening you won't forget and there will be fireworks too! Metal Spirits is extremely proud to be 100% made in America, and our motto of "Liberty, Responsibility and Rock-N-Roll" is a perfect fit for Dean's show on Independence Day!
And before some of the less initiated start in with the "But aren't you all about Metal..." stuff, as discussed many times in the Tribal Update, it's all rock-n-roll! And while others may fancy only one genre of rock-n-roll, we like it all, and it all started from the same place - America!
(Metal just happens to be our favorite and has the coolest imagery).
Lastly, speaking of Seed to Table, tonight is Rock-N-Roll Thursday, featuring our friends from Delta Crossing! They are one of our favorite bands, so if you haven't seen them, you must! Great performers, great musicians, great rock-n-roll!
Unfortunately, we will be in New Orleans on business, today through Saturday morning, so we won't be there tonight. But have a blast Tribe, and we will be back in time for Slippery When Wet on Saturday!
That's it for this week, Tribe. Have a kick ass weekend!
Cheers!
